Christiana Jackson is a New York photographer and standup comedian. As a comedian, she’s filthy, high energy, and incredibly personalable. Her comedy is a mishmash of one liners, random international facts, and stories of her lovers.
She made her tv debut on Cash Cab, and have been in several comedy festivals including New York Comedy Festival, Black Women in Comedy Festival, Jersey City Comedy Festival (2020 Winner), Harlem Comedy Festival, and the Fifth Borough Comedy Festival.
In 2023, Christiana made her short film debut in The Hardest Button to Button as a co-star and co-writer. In 2024 Christiana also starred as part of the core cast of the web series, “Get a Real Job.” Both projects were featured in many film festivals such as the Bushwick Film Festival, Red Apple Film Festival, Chattanooga Film Festival, and The Iron Mule Short Comedy Film Festival.
Christiana Jackson is also a self taught photographer who resides. She bought her first camera in 2005 for real estate ads, and found herself shooting in between her appointments. In 2023, she debuted her first solo gallery show, “Erotic Art for Ungrateful Men.” The show is a collection of Christiana’s nude photography and excerpts of text conversations she received in response. Raw, funny, and at times disrespectful. It peers into their desires, expectations, and criticism, but more than anything: men’s entitlement to women’s bodies. This show was created after one of Christiana’s lovers took a video of her without her consent, and posted it online. This show is currently on view at the PAC Studio & Gallery until May 9th.
In 2025 Christiana produced a pop-up event called Art & Ice Cream which combined her unique ice cream flavors with photos from Black Cuba. The show is a retrospective of photos shot between 2011-2014, and 2017 throughout the island of Cuba featuring Black Cubans and shot from the eyes of a Black photographer.
